I was recently asked to paint an upright piano as part of Macclesfield's Barnaby Festival 'People's Pianos' project by Marburae Gallery. It's now on-show in Macclesfield town center.
I finished the piano in May and it's now residing at Cafe Nero in Macclesfield town center until 23rd June. After that the piano panels will be put on display in a pop-up display in Fat Face in the town. My piano is below.
The piano is also for sale for anybody that's interested. You can find a listing for it on eBay or visit the Shackleford Pianos website for more information and to take a look at all the other pianos produced by artists for the same project, including a wonderful Grand Piano.
